Introduction to Scopus & Faculty profiles
Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature: scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. Delivering a comprehensive overview of the world's research output in the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and arts and humanities, Scopus features smart tools to track, analyze and visualize research.
This workshop will cover various features of Scopus and address citation analysis using Scopus.

Nikesh is our systems specialist, responsible for implementing and managing Web scale discovery solutions (OneSearch), Library catalog, the KU repository, and Institutional ORCID set up. He has master degrees in three disciplines - Master of Library and Information Science, Master of Technology (Information Systems) and Master of Business Studies. Nikesh can help you in solving your technical issues related to searching and access to electronic resources. He can also help in setting up ORCID iD for faculty and connect it to Khalifa University.
