Gordana Rauski

Gordana Rauski is a Head Librarian at the Sas Al Nahil Library at the Khalifa University of Science and Technology.  She has over 19 years of professional experience working in large academic and public libraries in both Canada and the UAE. Gordana earned her MLIS from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada and a MA in Linguistics and Education the University of Novi Sad, Serbia.  Her research areas include information literacy, mobile learning, educational technologies,  information seeking behavior, learning spaces, STEM information and reference services, data management and digital librarianship. 

Gordana is also serving on the Steering Committee of the Information Literacy Network of the Arabian Gulf, and organizing committee of the Western Balkans Information literacy conference and European Information Literacy Conference. She is also active member of the American Library Association (ALA) and the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T).

She is a firm believer in lifelong learning, social development, cultural understanding, and  the transformational power that education has on individuals, communities and nations.
