Participants will learn more about KU-subscribed databases and scholarly e-resources for your research and academic success. Also, learn practical strategies to make the most of these resources and improve the effectiveness of your research. In addition, you will learn about advanced search techniques, such as Boolean logic and truncation, that will help you find exactly what you need.

Rani Anand

Rani Anand has over 10 years’ experience in academic libraries in the United Arab Emirates. She has been working with Khalifa University Libraries since 2010. Currently she is the e-resources librarian and instruction specialist at the main campus. Her major responsibilities are to manage electronic resources, design and conduct information literacy classes, and provide workshops for the faculty, researchers and the students. She has master degrees in three disciplines - Master of Library and Information Science, Master of Education Management and Master of Sociology.

Muna Alblooshi

Public Services Librarian at the Main Campus Library. 

An experienced Librarian, who has spent most of her professional career working in lead roles within academic institutes. Prior joining Khalifa University, she worked at Masdar Institue, Zayed University and Higher Colleges of Technology Dubai Women’s.

She graduated from American University in the Emirates, Dubai with Master Degree in Library and Information Sciences (MLIS).
